Position Overview:
This position is responsible for acquiring new cable, high speed internet, and voice customers through door-to-door canvassing, appointments, and/or referral solicitation in their assigned areas. It is expected that sales representatives attend training and utilize these skills in planning and executing events designed to educate and communicate the advantage of Comcast products and services. Sales Representatives manage the end to end sales experience from generating leads, through closing. Sales Representatives are accountable and compensated on their achievement in achieving sales goals in each product line.
*Acquire cable, video, and phone customers through field sales activity, primarily door to door sales and participation at various events.
*Develop, plan, and execute events and demonstrations targeted at all aspects of the sales process from lead generation to closing.
*Participate in company sponsored training sessions to build the knowledge and skills needed to be successful in selling and educating discounts, etc. for each product and service Comcast provides.
Education and Experience:
*High school diploma or equivalent.
*College degree in Business or Communications preferred.
*Bi-lingual Spanish preferred
*Direct sales experience, with a door to door experience preferred.
*Good communication and organizational skills.
*Outgoing personality who enjoys interacting with the general public.
*Ability to grasp training focusing on features, benefits, product differences, pricing, and marketing campaigns.
*Attention to details is necessary to ensure work orders and sales orders can be completed in a timely manner.
*A valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
*Flexible work schedule which may include working in the evenings or weekends.
Our Direct Sales Representatives earn a base salary plus unlimited commission with a target salary of $55,600.
